This coming Sunday The Tunbridge Church will observe World Communion Sunday. We will join Christians around the world in celebrating communion over a 24-hour period. The tradition, while new for this church, began 85 years ago, in 1933.

The Rev. Dr. Claire Bamberg will serve communion. This is a very powerful service. It will include various kinds of bread, each symbolizing a social justice issue in our world. As the breads are brought forward the Rev. Bamberg will read what each one symbolizes. The communion plates passed to the congregants will include choices of bread, including a gluten-free option.
