Blessing of the Animals

Sunday, 7 October 2018, 4:00 p.m. rain or shine, at Church of Our Saviour (Episcopal), 316 Mission Farm Road (across from the Killington Skyeship Gondola).

In honor of Saint Francis, all residents of Killington and environs are invited to bring their family pets for a blessing and
join in giving thanks for all God's creatures great and small.

Vicar Lee Alison Crawford will bless all animals (real or by photo proxy) one by one, awarding a certificate of blessing
to each creature in attendance. People are also invited to bring photographs of family companions, who are no longer living, for a special prayer.

The brief ceremony will be followed by light refreshments.

For the safety of your pets, have all animals in a harness and on a leash or, if they frighten easily, in a container.
