October 16th at 7 PM at the Arlington American Legion-Open to the Public.

The Arlington Garden club will celebrate " The Year of the Bird" by presenting Ruth Stewart, Citizen Scientist and Bird enthusiest, who will speak about "Why Birds Matter" . Audubon Society and National Geographic are also celebrating "the bird" this year. Ruth will talk about actions we can take to help our diminishing bird population, Bird behavior, migration, and protection for birds in peril.

The program starts at 7 PM right after a short Garden Club meeting.
