YOUTH ENVIRONMENTAL SUMMIT, Barre on November 2 organized by the UVM Extension office (see https://www.UVM.edu/sites/default/files/media/YES2018_registration_information.pdf). It looks fantastic, with really interesting workshops to attend, and plenty of opportunity to meet new friends who care about the environment and are excited to do something.

I would be willing to drive down there with any students (grade 6-12) who would like to come, and Lamoille Regional Solid Waste District has offered to pay the registration fee. If there is more interest than I can fit in my car, I can try to find other drivers/chaperones.
