The Peace & Justice Center and Director Rob Koier present “Strength of the Storm”, a documentary about the residents of a mobile home park in Berlin, Vermont that are brought together to fight against issues of economic discrimination after losing their homes to Hurricane Irene.
42 minutes, Directed by Rob Koier, Original Score by elmaudio, $10 for adults, $5 for youth (under 18 yrs). A percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Peace & Justice Center and the hurricane survivors featured in the film. the film will be preceded by Rob Koier's short film “The North Star”, part of "Freedom & Unity: The Vermont Movie".“Strength of the Storm” has played at the Green Mountain Film Festival, White River Indie Festival, the Vermont International Film Festival and was featured on the Weather Channel.
