Calling all girls to come and try the great sport of hockey for free! This weekend is World Girls's Hockey Weekend and rinks will be filled all around the world with girls trying hockey for the first time.

This Saturday three different hockey associations and the Vermont State Amateur Hockey Association will be hosting a Girls Try Hockey For Free Event at Cairns Arena Rink 2 from 1:30-2:30 PM.

There will be female college hockey players and coaches on the ice making sure all the girls are having fun! At 4:00 PM there is a UVM Women's Hockey game against UCONN and participants in the Girls Try Hockey For Free Event will get free admission to the game and any parents/siblings get a discounted rate of $2.00.
