Please join us Saturday Oct 6th for a concert with
Eli West and Ben Winship!
Eli West was at the Green Mountain Bluegrass & Roots Festival in August and blew everyone away with his incredible virtuosity! We are thrilled to have him return to the Ripton stage with his musical partner Ben Winship!
One of the most tasteful and innovative of young American musicians, Seattle-based Eli West has become a highly regarded figure in the Americana music scene over the past few years. Old and new, folk and jazz, vocal and instrumental, odd and accessible, subtle and virtuosic…. it takes great skill and care to make music that sounds this natural!
Ben Winship's version of string band music is an exploration of crossroads; where raw meets refined, original meets traditional, weird meets familiar, organized meets free ranging. The Boston Globe called his sound "A further leap from traditional hill country music." While Tim O'Brien refers to him as "One of the acoustic music scene's best writers."
