Mark your calendars for The Bethel Area Rotary Club's Annual Penny Sale on Saturday October 13. Starting at 7pm at the Bethel campus of the White River Valley School this will be a fun evening for the whole family with many chances to win prizes while supporting Rotary scholarships, exchanges and other community service activities.

The Rotary Penny Sale is an annual tradition. The Penny Sale will have several rounds of drawings for prizes and each round has 100 items. When you purchase a ticket for one dollar you have 100 "penny" chances to win in that round. Increasing the numbers of tickets you purchase increases your chance of winning. The items you might win for your penny are a Toaster oven, blueberry bushes, tools, daffodil bulbs, or gift certificates to area businesses. There is no admission charge for the event so it makes for an affordable evening for the whole family. These prizes have been generously donated by area businesses and there are hundreds of chances to win a wide array of useful items.
