The Vermont General Election will take place on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018 at the Winooski Senior Center (123 Barlow Street). Polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Registering to Vote in Winooski
You can register to vote by completing and returning a voter registration form to the City Clerk's Office in person or by mail, to have an application sent to you please contact the City Clerk's Office at 802 655 6410. You can download the Voter Registration Form or register via the Vermont Secretary of State Online Voter Registration System by clicking here:

Registration Deadline
Effective January 1, 2017, there is no longer a voter registration deadline! Voters can register right up until the day of an election.
First Time Registering by Mail
If you are registering to vote in Vermont for the first time by mail, you must include a photocopy of an acceptable form of ID. Acceptable forms of ID are:
• Valid photo ID (driver's license or passport)
• Current utility bill
• Current bank statement
• Another government document
Absentee Voting
If you will be out of town on an election day, you can:
• Vote in person at City Hall no earlier than 45 days before a primary or general election or 20 days before a municipal election
• Vote by mail by requesting an absentee ballot from the City Clerk's Office
