Chester Rotary First Thursday- October 4, 2018
What Do I Do With This??
What are you going to do with your meat and dairy food waste now that you are getting used to recycling your other food scraps for gardening compost?
Does your restaurant or school kitchen wrestle with the daily disposal of compostable and non-compostable food scraps and waste?
What will the residents and businesses do in 2020 when Vermont's Universal Recycling Law adds the recycling of all waste products to existing recycling requirements?
Chester Rotary First Thursday is pleased to present Ham Gillett, Outreach Coordinator for the So. Windsor/Windham Counties Solid Waste Management District, who will answer your recycling questions as he gives an update on Vermont's Universal Recycling Law.
Bring your questions about recycling, composting, and the proper disposal of all kinds of stuff.
Open to the community, Chester Rotary First Thursday is held at the Fullerton Inn, On the Green in Chester, Vermont on Thursday, next scheduled for October 4, 2018. The program starts at 5.15 p.m. and ends at 6.30 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar is available.
