Join us as we learn about what it means to live as an individual with a visual impairment. White Cane Awareness Day is an annual event that is designed to educate the general public on the nature of blind culture.
At 4pm we will begin with an activity that involves a low vision simulator kit (try on a different visual impairment!) and explain what White Cane Awareness Day is about. Then we will show a movie called "Going Blind" and have a discussion. There will be Leonardo's pizza, veggie platter, and beverages available.
