Hi Neighbors,
Thanks to the Ward 2, Ward 3, and Central District city councilors and the city's city council special initiative funding, there will be a fall dumpster day in addition to the usual spring event! We welcome Old North End residents to clean out trash and other household items that have been cluttering up your home, yard, or neighborhood, and get rid of them for free. Bring them to the Sustainability Academy parking lot on N. Champlain St. between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, Oct. 13th and you'll have access to dumpsters from Casella Waste, recycling hauling, and a small reuse area for items that still have life in them and can re-homed. All household items are accepted except large appliances and tires. Paint and other hazardous household products are welcome and will be brought to the CSWD Environmental Depot after the event. If you have questions please email me and I'll be happy to answer them.
If you have household goods that are in good shape that you'd like to donate, ReSource VT will pick them up for free Monday through Friday. Call (802) 658-4143 x19 to schedule a pick up.
