Subject: Trailblazing Women Panel - Wed. Oct 3rd at noon
You won't want to miss this! On Wednesday, October 3rd at noon Greater Burlington Women's Forum presents the next in their series of brown bag lunches with the topic "Trailblazing: Women in Police, Fire & Corrections." The panel includes, Burlington Fire Department's own Kathleen Lanphear, Vermont State Police Major Ingrid Jonas and Raysa Ortega, formerly of VT Dept of Corrections. These trailblazers will share their stories of what drew them to choose their path, what it took to get there and the effort and rewards found in working in these strongly male-dominated fields. There will be plenty of time after the short panel presentation to ask questions and connect with other women in the room.
Bring a lunch, listen, learn, share and network!
12 - 1:15pm at Contois Auditorium, Burlington City Hall. You can register at btvwomen.org or just walk in! Donations welcomed.
