Join us for a solar open house / site tour on Saturday, October 6th! We have three installations to view thus far, and are welcoming solar owners to display their arrays and tell the tour attendees a bit about the experience. This is a event to promote renewables in the area, as resolved at the 2018 town meetings in Plainfield, as well as East Montpelier, Marshfield, and 34 other towns across Vermont.
The cost of solar has never been lower, and the 30% federal tax credit will begin to sunset next year. Typically, owners can pay the same amount for a renewable energy loan as a replacement for their electric utility bill; then, after the loan is paid off in 9-12 years, the power source is owned by you, with only the monthly meter fee and efficiency charge going back to the utility. The time is right, and the time is NOW.
Please join us this Saturday! Rain date is Saturday Oct. 13th, but so far, this Saturday looks promising.
You can sign up by emailing Bob at bobattwo@gmail.com, or call/text 802-505-3996. You can also learn more about the tour and Sign UP or RSVP at the American Solar Energy Society site at: https://nationalsolartour.org/
Thanks, and see you on Saturday,
Bob Atchinson
