The Artist In Residence Gallery at 10 S. Main St in St. Albans invites you to our monthly Featured Artists Reception on Thursday, October 4th from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The Gallery is the setting for the beautiful work of 44 outstanding Vermont artists in a wide range of mediums with prices from $3 to $100s. Each month our artists gather to socialize with our visitors and our featured artist give a brief presentation about their work. Light refreshments and pleasant conversation are available.
The October featured artists are: Pam Krout-Voss, Patrick Murphy and Arlene Jarvis.
PAM KROUT-VOSS is best known for her art works using fibers, including vessels wrapped in varied textures and colors, and sculptures of birds, pears, and animals. In addition to her fiber work, Pam creates handmade journals and sketchbooks which incorporate fibers and her own decorated papers. Pam is one of October's featured artists at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, VT.
PATRICK MURPHY had a traditional art education and became a high school art teacher. In addition to constantly drawing, he prefers to paint in oils. Patrick loves the little towns of Northern Vermont and New York, and his latest paintings feature scenes from these locations. Just as Patrick does, viewers can imagine walking down the streets, and entering the buildings. Patrick is one of October's featured artists at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, VT.
ARLENE JARVIS creates intricate, unique beadwork jewelry. Her one-of-a-kind work reflects a creative style and her talent is evident in the artistic and elegant pieces and sets. Her jewelry includes headpieces, collar necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and pendants, and each is
