HOPS HISTORY IN OUR TOWN
Learn about 19th century hops growing and more about brewing when Kevin Hanson of Bristol gives an illustrated presentation on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 7:00 pm at the Jerusalem Schoolhouse just off Route 17 in South Starksboro. The program is sponsored by the Starksboro Historical Society and is free and open to the public.
Hanson, a historical society member, founded Hogback Mountain Brewing in Bristol several years ago. He has been doing research in family papers and found a fascinating story of hops growing in Starksboro village. He and perhaps other special guests (stay tuned) will share their stories about hops and brewing.
