Windsor County Democrats to Hold Bi-annual Pasta & Politics Dinner
The Windsor County Democrats will hold their popular Pasta & Politics dinner on Saturday, October 13, from 5:30-8:00 pm at Damon Hall in Hartland, VT. Special guests include:
Sen. Patrick Leahy, Rep. Peter Welch, Candidate for Governor Christine Hallquist, Secretary of State Jim Condos, Treasurer Beth Pearce, Auditor Doug Hoffer, Attorney General TJ Donovan, Candidates for Windsor Senate District— Sen. Alison Clarkson, Sen. Dick McCormack, Sen. Alice Nitka, and Rep. Charlie Kimbell and many Windsor County House candidates.
Nothing can whet one's appetite for politics like homemade pasta. Every two years, Democrats throughout Windsor County gather the bounty from their own gardens and from area farmers to make a festive community dinner in support of Democratic candidates. Homemade dishes from lasagna to penne pasta to spaghetti will be served along with sumptuous fresh salads, followed up with dessert and coffee, all provided by volunteers from the Windsor County Democratic Committee. A 50/50 raffle adds variety to t6yhe evenong. It's a great chance to see and learn more about candidates (and many of your currently elected officials) running for office this November.
