The Varnum Memorial Library recently decided to partner as a sister library with the BS Biblioteca de Oaxaca (the children's library in Oaxaca City, Mexico)! Since we are just getting started, we thought it would be wonderful to meet our sister community. We have arranged a video chat for this Saturday, October 6 at 1pm. Everyone is welcome to this event and we would especially like to encourage parents and caregivers to bring their children to meet kids in Oaxaca. Please bring your questions, too; the BS Biblioteca de Oaxaca is a big city library built just for children so there are lots of opportunities to talk to each other about the differences and similarities in our communities. We have translators on both ends to support communication.
