Cabot Celebrates 58th Annual Fall Foliage Festival
The town of Cabot will celebrate its 58th Annual Fall Foliage Festival on Tuesday, October 2 and invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy a well-rounded mix of events that explore the best of Cabot and Vermont - a diverse offering of art, music, nature, history and food.
Cabot has got everything you've come to expect and more - delicious home-cooked food, beautiful vistas, interesting tours & presentations, first-rate entertainment, and a new gallery of local artisans.
Check in at the Willey Building from 9 am until 1 pm, to sign up for tours, make lunch and supper reservations, and learn about all the day's events, including:
--Great live music:
2-4:00 pm Folk-Americana-Old Time music with Susan & Dana Robinson and friends at The Den,
7:00 pm DANZA DEL FUEGO (Dance of Fire) – Romani/Gypsy inspired music, especially Flamenco. Latin, Reggae & World Music at the Willey Building. Admission to the concert is by donation.
--Homemade meals for lunch and supper:
Corn chowder and chili lunch –11:30 am- 1 pm. ($6 adults, $2.50 children)
Turkey supper - seatings at 5:00 and 6:15 pm. ($15 adults, $5 children)
--Tours & open houses of local points of interest including, the Cabot Creamery, Burtt's Apple Orchard, Hooker Mtn Farm Distillery, Klingler Wood Carving & Art Gallery and Bothfeld Farm.
