Calling all Stowe HS music alumni!!
Mark you calendars and join me and Stowe High School music department for our Spring Concert 2019 on FRIDAY, May 24, 2019 (Memorial Day weekend!). All former band and chorus members are invited to participate or at the very least, attend this performance.
Along with celebrating this year's seniors and past alumni, this concert has another special celebration - after 35 years of teaching music in the public schools, I will be retiring at the end of this school year. Soooooo, this will be my last concert!
My hope is that many of you will return and we can have a fun night of performing band, jazz and choral pieces. I want us to enjoy making music together.
Details will evolve as we find out who will participate and what vocal/instrumental part you will sing/play. The basic plan as of now is to have folks arrive Friday afternoon for dress rehearsal with the HS students at SPPAC. The concert will be at 7:00 pm. Ms Lacasse will also be guest conducting a piece with the chorus.
We are working on having a venue available after the concert to have folks join me after the concert and share stories and reminisce.
