On Saturday, October 29th, a work crew will gather at St. Peter's Cemetery (Maple Street, Vergennes) as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that St. Peter's Cemetery is maintained in a way that shows proper respect to our deceased loved ones. Once again we have solicited the help of the President of the Vermont Old Cemetery Association, Tom Giffin, to lead us in a day of repair and restoration of our broken headstones as well as to guide us in the cleaning of some of our headstones from 8 – 2 PM. Lunch will be provided. This project is going to require some strong individuals to help with the repairs. Please come join us in this day of showing respect. Besides strong men and women we are also going to be in need of the following items:
Strong men and women (just to say it again)
Shovels
Pry bars
Spray bottles
Soft brushes
Paint Stirrers
Clean take-out containers (i.e. Chinese Take-Out)
Our deceased loved ones thank you in advance as does the St. Peter's Cemetery Committee.
