Join naturalist Sue Morse for a fascinating, fun, and visually stunning slide show and lecture about wildlife in the Champlain Valley.
Learn about bobcats and other mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles that live here as well as the habitat they need to survive and thrive. Sue Morse, founder of Keeping Track, an organization devoted to training professional biologists and citizen scientists in wildlife monitoring skills, will illustrate how we can enhance our understanding and appreciation for our local wildlife while protecting critical wildlife habitat in our woods through forest management.
The presentation is Thursday, October 4th from 6:30 to 8 PM at the Ferrisburgh Town Offices and Community Center. Program is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Amy at 802-434-7245. Hosted by the Ferrisburgh Conservation Commission.
