This Tuesday (9/25) evening at 6:00pm is our Barre Reads movie night at the Aldrich Public Library! This year's Barre Reads book, "Bread and Roses, Too" by Katherine Paterson, tells the story of the 1912 labor strike in the textile mills. Come watch a PG-rated musical movie about the 1899 newsboy strike in NYC. Popcorn provided. This is a fun way for kids to learn about labor history!
