The Northfield Conservation Commission will host a hike to Scrag Mountain on Sunday, September 30th at 9:30 am. We will start on the Waitsfield side of the mountain and end up in Northfield. Some car ferrying will be required. The hike is about 6 miles in length with approximately 1300 feet of elevation gain. It should take about 5 hours including transportation time.
