Learn about eating healthy for diabetes prevention, including an overview of healthy food choices, the divided plate and tracking your food intake.
Also learn about the year-long Diabetes Prevention Program, designed for people who are at risk for type 2 diabetes, but who do not already have the disease.
Ilene and Lisa will bring informational brochures, sample materials used in the program, and visual food models.
