Help for Seniors with taxes
March 7, 2014 is free Tax Day @ TVSC which is full to capacity. However, I have just heard from the Tax preparers that they have scheduled a second day at TVSC (March 28th) to accommodate more people. The Tax preparers are through AARP and they will do low income residents in the six towns we serve, Marshfield, Cabot, Plainfield, East Montpelier, Woodbury and Calais. Taxes are prepared free of charge and filed electronically. If you would like your taxes done please call as soon as possible to 426-3447 and ask for Rita. If I am not available please leave your name and number and I will return a call to you.
