October 14 and 21 from 10-3 at Rutland County Humane Society, Pittsford.

This class is the foundation for self-care and working with animals. We will discuss the history of Reiki, Reiki precepts, the Japanese energy system, and the "Let Animals Lead" protocol for animals. We will experience the energy through the initiations and meditations. The student will learn basic hand positions for self-care and for treating friends and family, however the focus will be on treating animals. There will be plenty of practice time with the animals. The student will gain the basic knowledge for working on any animal. A manual and certificate will be given.
