Kids' Poets Society Class - Taught by Trish Kennedy
An introduction to poetry for young elementary students. Grades 1st - 3rd. We will explore various genres through reading, writing, reciting, memorizing, creating art and other activities (including multi-media). Students will receive a journal to personalize and work in and will produce a poetry portfolio at the end of the session. The goal is to encourage each student's creativity, have fun and build confidence with writing and enjoying poetry!
Thursdays, March 6 - April 10
3:00 - 4:30pm - 6 week session
For Part 2 students, on the day they attend Kids' Poet Society, Part 2 will be FREE OF CHARGE. Tuition is $130/six week session.
