Join us on Wednesday, Sept 26 at 10:30.a.m. at the Weeks Forest Carriage Trail. If you haven't been on this trail you are in for a treat. If you have, there is always something new to learn and neighbors to see.
Karen Murphy, a member of Guilford Conservation Commission, will serve as our nature and history guide. The trail is suitable for all who enjoy walking. It was once the carriage road that led to the Guilford Mineral Springs. It is senior- friendly - short, smooth and level (.4 mile out and .4 mile back). There are benches along the way for resting and enjoying the scenery.
The trail head is on Carpenter Hill Rd., across from the one room schoolhouse a very short distance from Guilford Free Library. Parking is limited at the trail head, so park at the library and stroll over. Call Guilford Cares at 579-1350 or email gcares@comcast.net with questions.
