Are you a Burlington home owner? Have you ever thought of adding a small apartment to your property or backyard? Want a family member to move closer, but not live with you? Please come to an informational workshop to learn about "Accessory Dwelling Units" (ADUs) on Saturday, September 22, from 10:00am-Noon at the Heineberg Community Senior Center (14 Heineberg Road in Burlington's New North End).

A panel of experts will discuss the benefits of adding an apartment to your home or backyard. You'll hear from people who have done this as well as what the rules are in Burlington. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers and resource tables with experts and information to share. An ADU could give you rental income, someone to share household chores, and a friendly neighbor.
