If you're one of the stalwart souls in Montpelier who picks up litter as you go about your daily life, please come and enjoy some sweet treats on Tuesday as a gesture of thanks for your efforts. The volunteer Trash Tramps, who clean up sidewalks, streets, and parking lots every Tuesday afternoon, are holding their annual celebration. At 3:30 pm on September 18, the TTs will gather in the Activity Room at the Montpelier Senior Center to enjoy "make your own" ice cream sundaes, hear a recap of the highlights of this past year, and witness the awarding of the coveted Golden Tongs.
