Last week, a VFNHP member and a staff member from Rights and Democracy addressed the South Burlington City Council and requested a resolution in support of nurses be put forward on their next meeting agenda. The council agreed, and the resolution will be on the agenda for a vote on Monday, September 17 at 6:30 pm. This is great news, and already a great step forward!

It is of the utmost importance that if we want the resolution passed, VFNHP members and South Burlington residents attend and make statements during the open comment period.
