We're inviting folks in our neighborhood -- especially those who enjoy films and would like a more intimate introduction to the Vermont International Film Festival -- to our home on Thursday, September 20 beginning at 5:30 pm. You'll see previews of several of the many scores of films to be screened at the October festival, as well as enjoy some City Market-catered appetizers, drinks and interesting conversations with Festival organizers, supporters and your neighbors!

We in Burlington and Vermont are quite fortunate to have enjoyed this world-class film festival that has focused on social, environmental and human topics for the past 33 years. It is a true "festival," in that during the 10 days beginning October 18, it will engage students, kids, cinefiles, filmmakers and visitors from three states and Canada in a conversation about what makes us laugh and cry, angry and motivated, or astounded by things around the world we never imagined existed!
