This film portrays the inspirational story of Owen Suskind, a young man who was unable to speak as a child until he and his family discovered a unique way to communicate by immersing themselves in the world of classic Disney animated films.

Presented by WonderArts in partnership with the Vermont Learning Support Initiative, this documentary film series focuses on neurodiversity - an approach to learning and disability that argues diverse neurological conditions can be the result of normal variations in the human genome, framing learning challenges as differences rather than as deficits. Supported by funds from the Bissell Foundation.
