The Hinesburg Development Review Board will begin reviewing the Haystack Crossing development project at the February 18 DRB meeting - 7:30pm at the Town Office (main hall, second floor). This is a proposal for a large development project in the village growth area - undeveloped fields west of Route 116 between Shelburne Falls Road (north side) and Patrick Brook (south side - north of Kinney Drugs). See the Town website (http://www.hinesburg.org) for details, including application plans, narratives, and a staff report from the Planning & Zoning Department identifying seven issues to address in this first step of the review process.

The DRB values input from community members, and experience with past projects shows me that community involvement really does help shape the design and outcome of development. If you're passionate about growth and development issues in Hinesburg, this DRB meeting is worth attending.
