Local Wool Event at Charlotte Library

Past event
Feb 19, 2014, 5:30 PM

Come learn about locally produced fiber products at the Charlotte Library this Wednesday at 5:30pm. Bay Hammond of Green Mountain College Farm and Doolittle Farm along with my wife and I from ShakeyGround Farm will be discussing our sheep and the products we produce with our flock's fiber.

Whether you knit, crochet, weave, or felt (or would like to learn), you can come learn a little about how we care for our animals and the process of having these products made. And we can all share ideas and methods for how we use this wonderful local fiber. Plus, enjoy samples of Nor'Easter chili and Nitty Gritty cornbread courtesy of Yourfarmstand.com.

Hope to see you there!
