Capital City Concerts opens its 2018-2019 season on Saturday, September 15 at 7:30PM at the Barre Opera House in a home-coming performance by pianist Michael Arnowitt. This program of musical story-telling, entitled "Fantastic Voyage" includes Schumann's Op. 12 Fantasy Pieces, Prokofiev's Piano No. 7 Sonata, Chopin's F minor Ballade as well as Lowell Liebermann's Gargoyles, one of the most talked about piano compositions in recent decades. After the concert, a reception will take place in honor of the performer.
