On Sept. 12, Weds., the Joint Meeting of Historical Societies and Potluck Dinner will be take place at the ILM Historical Society. We invite all local Societies in neighboring Vermont and New York areas. A wine and cheese reception will be begin at 5 p.m. at the Isle La Motte Historical Society, followed by a potluck supper at St. Anne's Shrine Cafe at 6:30 p.m. This a welcoming way to end the summer, to network, meet new people, renew friendships, and get inspired. It seems each organization has done many diverse projects, which we can all learn from and perhaps collaborate on for future projects. All are welcome. Enjoy the beautiful evening, and share your interests and ideas with others who treasure the legacy they are entrusted with. See you there!
