As you may know, the Green Mountain Byway is a state designated tourist route which highlights scenic, cultural, recreational and other offerings of the areas involved.
The Green Mountain Byway Steering Committee, which includes representatives from the communities of Cambridge, Johnson, Hyde Park, Morristown, Stowe, and Waterbury, has requested to officially expand the existing Green Mountain Byway designation which currently comprises just Stowe and Waterbury.
The State of Vermont Transportation Board Public Hearing will take place on Monday September 10, 2018, 6pm at the Hyde Park Municipal Office (in the Community Meeting Room during a regular Select Board meeting).
