Helpful tip: If you can, please put your items in a cardboard box (or boxes) before you visit. It makes life much easier for our staff (and other visitors) if they don't need to unload your items one-by-one, and if you can drop off the container along with your items.
NOT accepted: NO asbestos, NO explosives, NO prescription drugs. For a full list of acceptable items, visit https://cswd.net/hazardous-waste
Can't make it to the Rover? You can always bring your hazardous leftovers to the Environmental Depot, open year-round:
ENVIRONMENTAL DEPOT
1011 Airport Parkway
South Burlington, VT 05403
Wed-Fri 8-2; Sat 8-3:30
It's open all year long, and open to the public (fees may apply to businesses and out-of-district residents).
Questions? Call the CSWD Hotline at (802) 872-8111 (staffed Mon-Fri 9-4).
