Join USA Dance Green Mountain Chapter for our monthly community ballroom dance! This month is our fall formal located at Elley-Long Music Hall on St. Michael's campus. Dress up to your comfort level with clean, non-gripping shoes for the dance floor. In celebration of National Ballroom Dance Week, we will also have a ballroom show dance at half time!
Attendees will enjoy dancing waltz, foxtrot, tango, rumba, cha cha swing and more on a magnificent wooden floor with beginner, advanced, and dancers of all ages and abilities in a relaxed, Vermont atmosphere. Starting with two 45 minute lessons to get you started, and familiar with local area instructors. No partner or experience necessary, we will rotate partners or feel free to dance with your significant other.
Light refreshments included.
7-7:45 Intermediate lesson: Waltz with Bill and Carolyn Pedrick (some waltz experience required)
7:45-8:30 Beginner lesson: foxtrot with Olivia Schrantz and Levi Leab
9:30: Ballroom show dance
