Bread and Roses, Too Book Discussion

Bread and Roses, Too, a novel of historical fiction, relates the story of the 1912 "Bread and Roses" strike in the textile mills of Lawrence, Massachusetts when children were sent temporarily out of harm's way to foster families in Barre.

A book discussion to explore some of the themes of the book will be held at the East Monkton Church, 405 Church Road, on Sunday September 9th at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome.
