"Intake," an award- winning play by Marshfield, VT playwright, has its premiere as part of Winterfest February 13-16.

The play focuses on the interaction between 82-year-old Hannah and Dr. Grey, the inexperienced psychiatrist evaluating her for possible dementia.
As their interaction progresses, the doctor is forced to reassess her snap judgments about Hannah and about the aging process in general. Hannah's offbeat perceptions and her somewhat psychic connection to animals bewilder Dr. Grey at first. However, while Hannah's grasp on reality might initially appear shaky, both the psychiatrist and audience come to appreciate that her ideas about aging are original, tinged with wise humor, and even profound.
