The Green Mountain Returned Peace Corps Association invites you to attend a free community lecture, "Life and Death in Kolofata: An American Doctor in Africa" with Dr. Ellen Einterz. Dr. Einterz has worked for over 30 years in global health and humanitarian assistance in some of the world's most under-served areas.

Life and Death in Kolofata is the personal account of her work in northern Cameroon where she built a flourishing hospital and a women's economic development center despite the extreme local poverty, abysmal health care systems, political and economic corruption, and the violent religious extremism of Boko Haram there.

The event will be September 6th at 7:00 PM in the Davis Auditorium in the University of Vermont Larner School of Medicine. Parking is available in the Medical Center garage. Inquiries about this event can be directed to greenmountainrpcvs@gmail.com
