The North Danville Baptist Church will be celebrating its 150th anniversary Sept. 22-23rd starting with a free BBQ from 4:30 to 5:45 PM. This will be followed by the cutting of the cake and silent auction with musical entertainment. The St. J. Jazz Quartet will play in the sanctuary at 6 PM followed by a historical talk by church historian Ray Clouatre. This will end with an old fashioned hymn sing. The Sunday morning worship service beginning at 9:30 AM will feature the Maple Leaf Seven and a reminiscent message by former pastor, the Rev. George Peters.
