Rural Vermont and The Farm Between* are partnering to host the next Pitchfork Series event where we will explore the use of pesticides and herbicides in Vermont. At 4:15 sharp, John Hayden will provide a tour of The Farm Between and its goals and practices in relationship to pollinator and insect health. Afterwards, a panel will provide information and perspective on policy, research, practices, and responses (on and off farm) related to pesticide use. There will be time for socializing as we enjoy pizza from NOFA's wood-fired oven and The Farm Between's snow cones! * LIMITED PARKING! PLEASE CARPOOL! * LIMITED SEATING! BRING A CAMP CHAIR!
