Yoga Basics Workshop: Feb. 21 4-6 PM $15
Fall in love with Yoga with this Introduction to Yoga. With Laura W.

This is the perfect class for people who are brand new to Yoga as well as more experienced Yoga students looking to refine and deepen their practice. This supportive, fun class explores a basic vocabulary of Yoga postures (asanas) and Yoga breathing techniques (pranayama) and emphasizes the integration of movement, breath and awareness. You will leave class feeling energized and relaxed. This class is appropriate for all levels of ability and experience including beginners.

Yoga Basics Series! 2/22 - 2/26 8:45-9:45
If you have always wanted to try Yoga, or fine tune your practice now is your chance! After this course you will be ready for any of the regular Level 1-2 classes at the studio!

Laura is an IIN trained, Board Certified Health Coach, a Yoga Alliance Registered Master Yoga Teacher (RYT500) and a Certified Yoga Therapist with over 25 years in practice. She is also certified in Thai Yoga bodywork and has trained in Healing Touch and Reiki. She is on the faculty of Community College of Vermont where she teaches Body Awareness. She is the author of EveryDay Yoga (DVD); Beecher Hill Yoga: Postures & Meditation(CD) and several articles in the Health & Medicine section of Downstreet Magazine. Laura brings a unique combination of depth and humor to her work with classes and individuals.
