This Saturday afternoon sees a unique, exciting, fast paced, high scoring and physical sport come to Shelburne, Vermont. Aussie Rules Football.
Visiting teams are the Quebec Saints, the Boston Demons, the Maine Cats and the recently formed Vermont Black Diamonds. Each team will play each other in a set of mini games at the Shelburne Community School field with the first game between Vermont and Boston kicking off at 1 pm.
Aussie Rules 'Footy' is the number one sport in Australia with 18 pro teams in the elite AFL league. Some major arch rival clashes and finals games fetch over 100,000 spectators in attendance.
