On Saturday, Sept. 29 the Essex Conservation Committee and Trails Committee will hold the Fifth Annual Fall Clean-Up Day at Indian Brook Park. Come help the Conservation and Trails committees as they remove invasive plants and improve trails in the park. This year, some CTC members will lead small groups to remove invasives from more remote areas while others continue to clear out the parking areas.
The Clean-Up will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wear work gloves and sturdy shoes. Bring shovels or loppers if you have them. Other tools will be provided.
Meet in picnic area parking lot (the middle lot) at 1 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
A rain date is scheduled for Oct. 6.
