The Curtis Pond Association will be meeting at the Maple Corner Community Center at 3pm on Sunday, September 2nd. CPA meetings are open to the public and we encourage anybody who is interested in the long term health of Curtis Pond to attend.

For this meeting, Karen Bates from watershed management in the state will join us. We are pleased that once again a state watershed management staff member is willing to share her time, expertise and resources with us on a Sunday.

Bev and Don Heise have generously offered their place for an after meeting BYOB party, grill, boat, swim, splash and play at their "camp" and PONTOON boat. We will all weigh in on the timeless question, "is this pontoon boat a net improvement on our pondscape, or is this an indicator of the fall of the Roman Empire?" After all, she hails from Joe's Pond [gasp!}. Fun touring music planned from her decks.
